Barcode-Scanner

Hardware

With the help of bar code systems can simplify inventory-management and -logistics accelerate substantially, and reduce errors in the recording of stock-movements dramatically.

Our software also supports RFID systems that have a defined interface.

Keyboard Scanner wired or wireless
Keyboard Scanner wired or wireless are supported, ie The software "knows" not whether the data have come from the keyboard or the scanner. These types of scanners are cheap and are suitable everywhere, which can take place inventory transactions directly on the "Storage-PC".

The range of cable is only a few meters, the cable is also often an obstacle in practice. Therefore, a radio scanner is a better solution, but of course more expensive.

The range of the radio scanners is up to 30 m outdoors. In practice, however, here we have to have the eye contact with the PC, so that 10 m is probably the praktible distance.

Memory Scanner
These scanners have a memory in which the scanned or entered numbers of items are stored. After all items were scanned, the data is offloaded to the PC and recorded.

REFLEX and GEVAS Professional supports interfaces to the mobile scanners DENSO, eg the BHT-300. Moreover, REFLEX has to be a universal interface to external programs that read data from any scanner and write it to files, if the scanner has an interface program. These files can then be imported by REFLEX. The whole process is in background, so you the user does not have to worry about the data import.

Bi-Directional Scanner with MobiFlex
Here the scanner directly is connected with the database over the network (wireless LAN). Bookings will be immediately executed after each scan. The user receives immediate feedback about the process, eg if an item is reserved.

In principle, any PDA / scanner is capable of running Windows CE ®. It is important that the scanner has a keyboard emulation, ie it sends the scanned data to the "keyboard" of the scanner.

MobiFlex scanners running on PDA under Windows CE 5 / 6. The unit should have 64 MB of memory and of course a wireless connection.
