Purchase price monitoring

In order to minimise input errors, the input of the purchase price is monitored during stock receipt.

The maximum deviation is defined here in percent.

The programme checks whether the current purchase price entry deviates from the average purchase price.

In case of deviations, a warning is issued.

Example:

An average price for an item xxxxx is 200 euros. The price monitoring activated here (of course for all items) is set to 20%.

Then every item price is checked in e.g. master data/stock receipt.

If a purchase price of 300 euros is entered for the new addition for item xxxxx, the programme will issue a warning message.

In this case, the user must decide whether the purchase price of 300 euros is an error or not. In our example, only prices in the range of [120 euros to 280 euros] are accepted (20% of 200 euros = + - 80 euros deviation).
