Transport approval period

What does activation of this parameter do?

If the parameter [Transport approval required] is active the parameter [Transport approval period] is very important.

If this parameter is NOT defined a default value of 7 days is set.

This is the period in which a counter branch B must decide whether an item requested by branch A is released for transport.

WARNING:

If, for example, branch B does not make a decision within this period, the item is considered "released for transport". Of course, branch B can also decide after this period whether and how much of an item is released for transport to branch A. However, there is a risk that an item is released for transport after this period. However, there is a risk that a transport with this item is already on its way and then branch B can no longer influence the release of this item.

If this time period were not defined, then if branch B had not made a decision, a transport of this item could never take place. This would lead to considerable dispatcher problems.
