Order-oriented customer folder: Base path

This function facilitates the handling of customer documents:

• In a fixed, order-oriented customer folder, one can copy different files (e-mail, pictures, documents) that have to do with the order.
• Sense of the matter:
• Later one can display in the order by mouse click all the information that has been stored in this order-oriented customer folder.

Procedure:

• First the Reflex administrator has to define here in the parameter table the general customer folder base path in which the order folders should be created.

e.g.:

D:\CUSTOMER_ORDERS

• After that, when a user opens an order, he sees a button on the tab page "Memos" which contains the following heading, depending on the situation:
  • "Create new customer folder" (if it does not yet exist).

or

• • "Open customer folder" (if a customer folder already exists for this order).

Example:

• You have an order with the number 100022.
• If this button is pressed, the following customer folder is opened with Windows Explorer:
  • D:\KUNDEN_AUFTRAEGE\100022
• Now you can copy or edit any files (e-mails, pictures, documents) that have to do with the order.

This gives you super-fast access (just one mouse click) to everything in the order-oriented client folders.
